Poem - A Smile

A Smile
As sweet smiles grace the early morn
Then the day reflects the soul’s bright gift
Granting peace through friendship’s touch
Bright magick from the heart’s calm pool
All nature’s breath is purer still
Her song brings joy to one and all
Wrapped within the sun’s pure gold
And blessed by moon’s sweet silver light
For one smile stills all anger felt
And gently breaks upon the soul’s dark shore
Redeems our worldly cares without
And calms the needful beasts within
A smile forces back the tears
As love gently touches all our hearts
Brings peace to the maelstroms in our lives
And gently redeems each wondrous day
Smile and touch the one you love today
Lest the day’s sorrow holds in sway
All cheerful thoughts and kindness there
And brings lasting regrets of words unsaid
