Poem - Crystal Shard

I look within a crystal shard
By flickering candle light
And view the myriad worlds within
Those that come within my sight
The beauty that lies within
Brings pleasure to my soul
It lifts my heart on Dragon’s wings
To soar Their jeweled shores
I twist and bank on spiral winds
Over green clad valleys there
And rest my weary heart
Beside clear mountain streams
I gaze upon Their forests
Hear all Their night time sounds
Pause and taste Their winds that blow
There deep within my mind
My thoughts come gentle there
As soft as fire’s glow
Warm and gentle coals of peace
That calms my weary soul
No conflict there, just love and trust,
No war or want or waste
Just those beauteous worlds within
Granted by Her grace
Join me there on gossamer wings
Some night when you’re alone
Then we can soar Her winds of love
Twirl and dance among Her stars
For peace is just a glance away
Within a crystal shard
Light your candle then look within,
Myriad worlds await you there
