Poem - A Yule Gift

A Yule Gift
If I would send a Yule gift
To everyone one I knew
Then I would send the moon and stars
And some lightly fallen snow
I would light my path
With candles all a glow
Sprinkle it with Faerie dust
To show the way back home
I would decorate my home
In colours bright with cheer
Start a warming fire
As I felt you each draw near
I would offer all a warming drink
To chase the chill away
And then we would sing and dance
As we whiled the night away
If I could send a Yule gift
To everyone I knew
I would offer them the treasure
Of a loving smile or two
I would offer peace and love
To calm the worry and the fear
If I could send a Yule gift
To everyone this year
So instead I send these words
Wrapped within some Yule cheer
Blessed with my undying love
From Her .. To me .. To you
