Poem - Faerie

Faerie
Faerie wander through our thoughts
Trip lightly down each memory’s path
Wandering amidst our deepest fears
Peering in dark corners there
Seeking thoughts of loves long lost
Sensing the laughter in our lives
Sharing sights we’ve left unseen
Deep within our midnight dreams
Cares and woes of friendships price
Wrapped within dark solitude
A family’s love, of sweet voices shared
As timeless as the heaven’s gleam
They laugh and play amongst our tears
Wind chimed laughter for us to hear
Wondrous happenstance it seems
Healing as they come and go
Bringing light to shadows there
Hidden behind the calm face of years
Wash each fearful thought away
So we can start anew each day
