Inspiration
Inspiration comes from the stars and moon
Or from the soul so deep within
It plucks upon our heartstrings
It’s a sun-blessed summer’s feast
It fills the world with beauty
It chimes upon the wind
It’s the beauty of a lover’s kiss
It’s the joy that’s found within
It’s a faerie dance at midnight
Warmth shared on a winter’s night
It’s the music of the wolf
The rapture found in eagle’s flight
It’s the magick of the Witch
Wrapped within the spiral’s power
Gathered from the twists of fate
At midnight’s magick hour
It’s all the stories of mankind
Spoke on the winds of time
It’s the Journey ‘tween our birth and death
It’s the solitude of mind
What inspires you to live?
Is it hate or is it love?
What will be you gift to all mankind
On that last sunset of your days?
