Poem - Have You Heard

Have You Heard
Have you heard the Owl’s call
Softly on the evening breeze
And wondered why she spoke your name
For the gentle Elves to hear
Or have you felt the need to walk
Amongst the willows by the lake
Or stroll amidst the old, oak trees
Down by the laughing, gurgling brook
And have you heard the Faerie laugh
As they play by moon’s bright light
Or felt the Wolf’s warm breath
As dark shadows weave about
And have you felt the Raven’s gaze
As she wanders midnight skies
Or have you searched for life’s meaning
Within the sparkling mid-night hours
And have you touched a moonbeam
As midnight gently falls
Or sat and laughed with friends
Watched sparkling, falling stars
Life’s cool spring awaits you
To quench your living thirst
If you but pause and rest
And listen to its voice
