Poem - Ostara

Ostara
Lightly falling snow drifts across the fields
And the hoar frost clings lovingly to the Aspen
The rising sun reflects and creates a Faerie world
Full of the promise of new beginnings
You can hear the sounds of Faerie laughter
Amid the soft tinkling of bells on the light breeze
You can feel Her magick in the air
As the Earth prepares for the burgeoning of new life
The distant call of geese herald the advance of warmth
As the coyotes joyfully dance along the moonlight paths
Deer meander through the shadowy growth
Searching for the elusive new growth of spring
It is time for us to celebrate new life ... new beginnings
Stepping into the radiant light of a new year
Absorbing the fresh nuances that will carry us
Happy and healthy through the coming seasons
May the Lady bless you with health and happiness and success in all things .... SMIB
