Fool

I am a Fool with roads stretching onwards
Sight yet unseen
Unshackled by Fate;
Paralyzed
With one foot upon change
And the other in the past.
Why does courage hurt so much?
Love wound?
Ghosts come to life and the living become shadows
All in the past. All holding strong.
Where do you go when courage fails you?
When the past cannot return?
The only way is forward.
Now is ghostly, fleeting, gone...
Time redesigns
Even the mind
There is only the future unfolding...
