Forces and powers that come on unheeded.
Forces and powers that make me be strong.
Father please teach me to help rebuild order -
Father please guide me away from all harm.
Pathways I seek in this world become madness.
Structure I seek in this world built on pain.
Teach me to overcome sadness and sorrow.
Teach me to seek out who I am again.
Give me the power to overcome anger.
Allow me to seek the pathways undone.
Weave through my life with power and reason -
Help me to spin in a life come unspun.
Author's Notes: A reflection on the Major Arcana's Emperor in both its regular and reverse meanings as a force of both stability and blockage.
