Mistress of Tears

In your sorrow
amidst your pain
you search for comfort
but it's all in vain.
She rules this world
it is her domain,
the pain is to much
it drives you insane.
Cloaked in blue,
shrouded in silver,
her supirior look
makes you want to shiver.
Yet you feel a warmth
but the pain doesn't fade
she looks you up and down
see's the scars from the blade.
At some point the tears stopped
then they started again,
she gives you the "mother's look"
a hand she will lend.
The sorrow's still there
the pain, it still sears
yet to comfort you always,
is the Mistress of Tears.
Author's Notes: I wrote this poem after I got into a fight with a couple of my best friends, and it seemed like the whole world had left me alone. So I meditated a while and after I was finished, I wrote this. Feedback is appreciated and encouraged. Thank you. Blessed be.
