Please Darling...

Please darling don't push me away
when I don't know what to do.
Please darling don't get angry
and tell me that we're through.
Please darling understand
that parts of me still needs to heal
from the shock of all of this
I can't believe it's real.
Please darling don't be rash
and say something you'll regret.
Please darling I need you to stay
don't leave me in this mess.
Please darling I love you,
even though it's not been said.
Please darling love me back
I need you to get this through your head.
I can't live my life without you
please darling can't you see?
I will wait forever,
just so we can be.
