Ruthless

You say you love me,
but we both know you can't.
I'm not what or who you want
I'm not what you know.
My emotions are many,
and you've seen a few.
I'm colder, harder,
more ruthless
than you knew.
I'm alone,
I'm hollow, and yet
I survive this way.
I have lived my life through pain.
Yet not without rewards.
The Mother sent me you
as a friend.
But her intention was not love.
In Her name I'll tell you,
that what you feel is not for me,
but for someone else you long.
so please just leave this be.
We cannot take back,
the things that we have said.
Nor can we change, or stop,
the emotions in our heads.
You say that you love me,
but we both know you can't.
What you feel is not for me,
but for someone else you long.
I pray the Goddess
give her to you,
and you're vision of us will clear.
My brother, my friend,
my lover? No. A part of me,
Yes, but there is no love here.
I'm sorry that I'm not who you wish for
me too be,
you give me too much credit,
but I'm blind and cannot see.
That is how it feels right now,
I'm alone and the world is dark.
I wish that you could fix it,
but you can't.
I must go back,
back to where I was before.
I must face the demons that have
bore down on my
from my past life.
The house, the man,
the town. I'll end it.
You say you love me,
