Thinking, dreaming

Thinking, dreaming
remembering those times.
Remembering both you and I
and wishing we'd go back,
to the simple way
things were before.
Hopeing, wishing
that I could talk to you.
Telling you that I still feel
the way I felt when I was yours.
And wishing we could
have our happy ending.
Watching, waiting
but the 'right time'
just wont come.
Waiting for my chance to talk,
your time to listen,
but time defeats me.
Wondering, noticing
all the things I didn't before,
I didn't notice until now.
I wonder why I didnt,
and if it matters.
Thinking, dreaming
remembering those times.
Remembering both you and I
and wishing we'd go back,
to the simple way
things were before.
