Leaving Me To Dwel

The air that flows so strong,
the tears that fall so steady,
the fire that burns unchallanged,
all stopping at this moment,
all leaving me to my thoughts.
The powers that I love,
the powers that I charish,
the powers that I serve,
all flowing through my mind,
not stopping for a single second.
My thoughts,
my feelings,
my hurts,
my smiles,
all of them are thought of, and remembered.
I dwel on the past,
I dwel on the present,
I dwel on the future,
what has been, what will be,
and what is.
I ask why, who,
and how.
Yet no answers are returned
to me, I am in despair for
lack of reason.
The air that flows so strong,
the tears that fall so steady,
the fire that burns unchallanged,
all stopping at this moment,
all leaving me to my thoughts.
All leaving me to dwel.
