Moonlight Chalice

Sweet moonlight shining on my pillow
In your warm glow I bask tonight
Wind whispering through the willow
Donna molto bella, you feel Right!
This moonlight used to taunt me
Until I heard this Angel’s voice
No more cold afterglow to haunt me
Not in the warmth of this, your choice.
No, this full moon breaking through the cloud
On this windy November night so chilled
Finds me tenderly naming you out loud
It finds me naked, yet warm, and thrilled
(You’ve stripped away my old dark shroud
My half-empty heart at least now half-filled!)
You will find me on my knees in worship
The Source of All on the tip of my tongue
Femininity traced by my finger-feather tip
From this Chalice we’ll sip and be Young!
