My Protection

Age Group: Adult
My knees are weak,
the powers are strong,
all I hear,
are the notes of the song.
The song that we sang,
to call the elements here,
to help us banish,
pain and fear.
From the house
to the car,
to our work,
to the bar.
That we use on Friday's
to settle a week,
the place we relax in
where problems are meak.
We'll sing,
and we'll dance,
we'll rave,
and we'll rant.
Tonight, I do feel
was not made for behaving,
tomorrow I feel,
will be for just lazing.
With our new protection
from the evil's in life,
that we have just conjured
to end trouble and strife.
Please Goddess
watch us day and night,
keep us safe at all times,
As I will so mote it be.
Author's Notes: This was just some spontanious writing, I was reading trying to get inspiration and I guess I got it.
