Moon Goddess

Light of foot she walks over the night
Guiding my dreams
The young warrior
She fights the looming night
With her sly slim silhouette
She lures me into dark passions
Swollen with the child she nutures inside
Her loving arms protect me
Her motherly teaching brings light to the world
She seeks out the shadows
And shows me I have nothing to fear
She comforts me with her soothing light
Slim and frail she is close to the end
She brings the wisdom of time
The familiarity of another life
Her sight is getting dim
Her form is slight but her grace is strong
On her way to another life as the cycle begans again
