Come To Me

Being alone,
with no one to hear you.
Crying in the rain
wishing the dream was true.
Knowing you aren't here
kills my soul inside,
why can't you hear my heart?
By the rules of love, you don't abide.
Wishing you could see
me now
seeing what you'll miss.
Wishing you could hold me now
to give a final kiss.
Come to me and see me
now,
and see me moving on.
As I pray for happiness
from mignight until dawn.
Author's Notes: I found this poem this morning... it was written so long ago I can't even recall who it was about. Feedback is always welcome.
