Let's get stupid

I've been neglecting my duty
I’ve been shot down by cupid
I’m so lost in your beauty
And I want to get stupid!
Shot off of my high horse
I tumbled back down to the Earth
Where you find me, of course
In my dark ironic poetic mirth
So I crash into your still waters
And slay the monster in your bay
Then, looking at these frolicking otters
I say to You, “come on, let’s play”
I want to lap long at your shore
like a light summer breeze lazy
When you’ve come for me once more
Then, on my knees, I wanna get crazy!
Let ride on the crest of the night wind
before the storm’s lightning strike
In flight you’ll know we’ve not sinned
No, I am just wishfully writing like...
