Reduced to Possession

There’s an elegant olde world legal term
Still honoured in the hunting profession
Through centuries its Truth still stands firm
It’s the concept called "Reduced to Possession”
It refers to the valuable intrinsic worth
of all wild life that is still living roaming free
Its about our relationship to All on this Earth
It can be applied still to Everything, lovingly
It’s a phrase first used by olde forest Kings
And enforced upon punishment by Death
Those who reduced to possession His wild things
Paid dearly for their crimes, with their breath
For all that roamed freely upon His domain
Lived wild under the olde King’s full protection
If a stag was slain in the expectation of gain
It was a crime against His collective Perfection
Only those selected Hunters that He authorized
Could take park in the Wild Hunt’s procession
Under His Trust great care must be exercised
Were any of His deer to be reduced to possession
It refers to the valuable intrinsic worth
of all wild life that is still living roaming free
Its about our relationship to All on this Earth
It can be applied still to Everything, lovingly
He wants our freedom, He will respect you
So listen now, hear the olde King's confession
Our God and Goddess will always protect you
So that we are never reduced to possession
