So yes - we are white - but we are not guilty
For old England’s crimes against the First Nations
And none here can turn back the clocks of history
We did not force you upon these reservations
We old Celts do not expect the English to pay
For the Crown’s crimes against the olde Scots
Its just by dumb chance we all live here today
Our forefathers’ were forced too from their lots
So, “no”, we will not be made to feel now guilty
For the Crowns’ historic deals with First Nations
No one here can turn back clocks of history
We did not force you upon these reservations
And all of history is a war between peoples
One culture displacing some culture other
My proud forefathers’ forced to build steeples
In unjust wars against their own Earth Mother
My own forefathers forced from their land
In God’s war against our own Mother Nature
Surely today your Six Nation elders understand
We've all been screwed in His olde Legislature
Its too late to turn back the sly hands of time
Its too late to fight for what seems to you right
Its time to accept the hand of our Fate’s rhyme
Its time to forgive and give up your tired Fight
You speak now of Haudonosaunee law of peace
As your red warriors move in to terrorize a town
Burning tires and bridges - your own Wabeno feast
Your proud red flag flappin’ in its own toxic cloud
No, us ‘non-reds’ can not be made now to pay
For historic harms done to yours by the Crown
Think hard as you draw these battle lines today
For you will have your own selves to blame
When you force the Crown to take you down
