Sometimes Love is found in familiarity
Sometimes Love looks more like sympathy
Some sad unilateral Love seems like charity
Higher Love embraces mutual empathy
There is good Love that’s only skin-deep
The fleeting adoration of our beauty external
Some insomniac Love won’t let us sleep
But Higher Love is Peace held herein eternal
Some cool Love can be intellectual
And some shining love is raw fun lust
There is truer Love that’s more effectual
And Mystic Love falling in star-sun dust
Slow Love, like fine wine, is better mature
Cruel unrequited love leaves some hysterical
Rare and peaceful the shared Love of Nature
More powerful the High Love that is Mystical
Love that shines brightest leads to darkness
Sometimes we let our love shine too much
Lovers’ make miracles contrast with starkness
And good spiritual Love need not ever touch
