You say that you still love me
So why must we then be apart?
When we're together life's so lovely
But you're so reckless with my heart
You still say that you adore me
After all the sadness we've been through
I still want to summon you before me
to kneel, and say I love you true
You still tell me that you want me
But you still chose your life alone
All your sweet words now haunt me
In your love I sink just like a stone
You still ask me to be patient
While you get your life back together
So for me one more lost day spent
getting tossed in stormy weather
You say that you still need me
But its on your terms it seems
I need your nourishment - come feed me
Come give warm substance to my dreams
