Like I Do?

Do you now feel as peaceful
As I do after the rains today
Have we put the storms behind us
Or is it still too difficult to say?
My heart no longer skips a beat
When ever you hear my name
I no longer always yearn for you
I wonder, do you feel the same?
I no longer need to hear from you
Well at least not twice a week
But I still love to hear your voice
Those two calls we seem to seek
I no longer need to see your eyes
Four times in every full moon
But we do still enjoy our fortnights
It seems they never come too soon
I no longer need to hold you tight
At least not during summer time
I am just so glad you're in my life
I am so thrilled you dig my rhyme
But I still could not yet face you
In the arms of any worldly other
But you have never needed anyone
Our fair maiden crone & mother
