When was the last time
You just blew off for a day?
Emersed your soul in mystic rhyme
Then got lost, tussled in sweet hay?
When was the last time
You just blew off for a night?
Emersed your soul in Lovers' crime
Knowing whats wrong, but feeling right?
Just how long has it been
Since you just quietly stole away?
Emersed your soul in forest green
With a lean stranger there to lay?
When did you last escape
From years of Love's darkest harms?
Emersed in kisses at the nape
Of your neck held in strong arms?
When last did you really shine
With a man who kept you satiated?
Gotten lost in mists of Love and wine
On black water danced illuminated?
When was the very first day
You just blew off for one night?
That's okay, you need not say...
Just hold me in the moonlight.
