Some of you once survived there
- Not that you really had a choice -
Lost, cold, drowning, and revived there
But it was there you found your voice
Cast there adrift, lonely and lost
Upon your longest blackest night
Our thrice payment was the fare cost
Of wrongful bliss against what’s right
Black Sea nights show no direction
When there is no moonlight above
We had there no beacon for protection
Going down within the wake of Love
Adrift among Black Sea waves rising
Down go most unto their watery grave
But in the light of our own inner horizon
We found again all of the Love we gave
The Black Sea’s dark gift is renewed Life
- If it drowns us not within dark power -
We who face it brave survive black strife
We Love now All from our watchtower
