Here on the cusp of one more winter
Here on the edge of one more night
Our summer heat now a mere cinder
My distant heart a sun no longer bright
Here at the end of one more autumn
Here before Love's next winter solstice
We return again to where we come from
Back to the point at which our souls kiss
Here at the end of dark beginning
Here at the start of our bright ending
My warm heart again you're winning
O'er the cool Peace I've been defending
Here we weave around the borders
With no true beginnings nor no end
We follow not their rules nor orders
When I embrace you my dear friend
Here on the edge of winter darkness
Here on the cusp of renewed Light
You shelter us from their cold starkness
Before I raise you to unknown new height
