From where will winter come
As the rest of days grow longer
When the polar ice is gone
And hot winds are blowing stronger
Get out of New Orleans
Because soon it will sink fast
Sell your villa mediterranean
Before its pleasant days are past
Stop buying oil futures and stocks
Invest instead in Arctic shore lands
Forget our long winter snow walks
I will still romance you on hot sands
Its time to get out of the suburbs
Return to cooler northern climes
This pleasant weather's too absurd
Soon we'll wish for cold olden times
Give up your skis and snowboards
And those snowmobiles of course
Forever park your V8 4 door Fords
Its time to get your ass back on a horse
Dismiss now all you have known
About the changing cycling seasons
All we learned is now forever blown
Upon Her hot winds and His dry reasons
