Untitled Anger

So you call me names,
and you say things
behind my back.
You share opinions,
good and bad,
you all speak of what I lack.
Sure, I'm not the most polite,
and I'll tell you
how it is.
But I never once
did think, that
my friendships would end
quite like this.
But I will tell you one thing
because it seems you've overlooked
the fact that I'm a person,
not just some catch you hooked.
You can overlook me,
if its what you really want to do.
You can set me aside
for a rainy day,
but when your sad, and need a friend,
I'll be the one to simply say:
Until now I had no purpose.
Until now you didn't care.
Now you have a use for me,
my box is open, and I have air.
Now your all alone and such,
no one else will hear you whine.
My job is to be silent,
and usually that's fine.
But not today, and not tomorrow.
Or even a week from now.
Because you see, I'll take so much
then I'll take my final bow.
And with each breath and blink you take,
in hesitation and in shock,
my pocket size grows bigger still
and all you do is gawk.
Then you'll try to argue
that none of this is true,
but you see I know better now
and I've no trust left for you.
Now I'll say your words wont hurt,
but there was a time they did.
But that was then,
and this is now,
and I know how much you hid.
But now my time is ending,
and my angers growing thin,
you see I hurt and heal at once,
no matter what the sin.
But keep in mind
you've had your time,
and it's time for you to cease.
I'm moving on like always, you look like your stuck.
You don't look like your moving,
but still I wish you luck.
Author's Notes: Let's just say, that drama and backstabbing friends lead to people getting hurt and overcoming issues they have with themselves.
