If not for Truth
what value deception?
If not for Death
what value conception?
Seize the day
for all its worth
Let come what may
until our Rebirth
What value Love
if not indifference?
Why rise Above
but for irreverence?
Seize the night
as if our last
Let come what's bright
from distant Past
What value Life
should it not end?
What value Strife
if not an ardent Friend?
