Shimmer bright upon black waters
Illume the calm sea with me tonight
Among Her sparkling sons & daughters
Evanescent are we under moonlight
Mysterious the deep black sea below
A Shadow shroud the night sky above
Yet by Moonlit reflection we still glow
For but a second bright in Love...
Long life lasts but one moment
One moonlit night spans all of Time
I sparkle once for you, your country gent
You flare once for me in mystic rhyme
Between our time there's only night
the black vacuum void of deep dark space
Yet there briefly flares a Sun so bright
Just to light Her moonlit smiling face..
Shimmer bright upon black waters
Illume the rippling seas with me tonight
Among Her sparkling sons & daughters
Evanescent are we under moonlight
