Our Conflicted Times

We plant gauche flowers in our garden
while subtler beauty blooms within the wood
Our olde soft hearts are forced to harden
By those uncouth who never understood
Its just the conflicted times we live in
These, the best of the first worst of days
Most cherish not Her many blessings given
Most chose instead His worst of ways...
We've all the answers at our fingertips
But know not how to use this information
Most can't find their feathered wing tips
So they soar not in Nature's rejuvenation
Its the conflicted times we now live in
The very best and yet their worst of days
Most cherist not all that Nature has given
They pursue instead His destructive ways...
There are dark serpents in your garden
Goddess powers loom in your black cloud
Below, we beg for our Earth Mother's pardon
While we walk like Gods, foolish and proud
