Mother-of-pearl and dried sweetgrass
Worn english leather and fine lace
Black shadows dancing with the moonlight
As you turn your lovely midnight face
Green rolling hills and hoof beats
Bare jagged rocks and swelling seas
Whispering winds and ancient songs
And all I ever worshipped on my knees
Faerie rings and hilltop bale fires
The rising sun and our end of days
Maps and dreams and little things
And how Gods love Goddesses' ways
Singing blue birds and dying fawns
Sunny days becoming dark nights long
Fresh spring leaves and falls leaves changing
How I sometimes know not right from wrong
The northern lights and straw sun hats
Our complex looks and a red eclipse
Soft fingertips and horse whips black
Your name sweet upon your patron's lips
