Black Horses & A Blue Moon

O
It's a long dark row we hoe
Behind your little iron horse
But Life is more intense when its slow
And I still Love your Earthly ways of course...
Its a treacherous trail we ride
Beneath our little iron horses
But we just take Life now in stride
Across black rifts and water courses...
Its a hot May sun descending
Beyond our little iron mares
But its our Hearts we are defending
As we canter on past all our cares...
Its a full Blue Moon now that's rising
Above our little iron steeds
But this second May moon mesmerizing
Helps us distinguish wants from needs....
Its an evening primrose blooming
Below your black shadowed horse
Come ride these little mares we're grooming
Without restraint and with no more remorse...
