She Comes Forth...

She Still Comes Forth...

Crow black feathers and sage smoke
Rising true from a held abelone shell
Annointing human flesh and antler bone
In our light prayers so far above his hell
From within an open eastern door
Rises the Sun and I in salutation
Offering Hope for all that's yet to come
Through prayer, Light touch, and meditation
Black vultures lurking on an empty barn
Now framed by green to my view south
I pose the warrior for Her good Nature
Her silent prayers light upon my mouth
Then from within the open western door
I face Grandfathers aglow in black of night
In stark humility I fall unto a child's pose
Held respectfully dark yet in prayer light
Naked skin and sweet grass spirits
Blend now with deep forests to the north
Where all Her four earth directions meet
There by tree-pose prayers She still comes forth...
