It only takes one shimmering line
One free silken thread sent on the breeze
To make a woven web that captures me
In your tree trap that drops me to my knees
With just four more converging threads
You weave eight planes from web lines five
Within this double cross you make our bed
To which I'll come be for thee eaten alive
Between these your eight lines radiant
You spin your thin octa-spiral miracle
From your centre you work lithe and patient
Angling widdershins about your circle
This fine web you're crafting in perfection
Reveals your high practiced arachnid art
By night it steals moonlight's reflection
By day it captures this horseman's old heart
Your web lines so light are very strong
Yet silence surrounds you as you wait
So centered you'll just watch as I do wrong
Baiting me onward with your lines of Fate
