Greet the sunrise gutting deer
Then you might begin to understand
The meat you've bought was just as near
For all blood spilt returns back to Her land
Spend the morning shelling peas
And you might begin to understand
Greens don't come from the deep freeze
Like us, they come from Her good land
End the morning on a riding horse
So you might once again understand
We will be forced to give up cars of course
And live once more closer to Her land
Spend the midday weeding gardens
So your soft weak hands might understand
Earth worked by modern ways soon hardens
We need to be much gentler on Her land
End the day hand-splitting wood
Wherein cleft grain you'll understand
We only Love where trees once stood
Under one Sun heating up Her land
Start the evening cooking slow
Over home fires so you'll understand
If we depend on food that we can't grow
We're not living with Her hand-in-hand
