These dense grey clouds seem pregnant
And yet it still will not mercifully rain
The polar ice caps are fast melting
But we just carry on, driving insane
These Great Lakes glacial are dying
Bleeding out to feed your water main
Used up to green your damn golf course
Wasted to keep us godly clean and vane
The warm sun still shines upon us
Yet its dry heat now parches the grain
So we irrigate and import food in
Letting local farms sink down the drain
While our good Mother Earth is crying
You're entertained by sad news and pain
Following the grey suits you know are lying
Who so stupidity, you elect once again
These thick grey clouds are churning
Into yet another killing hurricane
We see not the cause but the effect
And just the price in Big Oil's costly chain
These huge colour T.V.s make us blind
You see through flat screens not your brain
Receiving just their grey filtered information
Believing Bewitched reruns are arcane
The great plains are now really drying
As you hose down your asphalt lane
The waxing harvest moon's unnoticed
While we all, like summers, wane
These vast northern woods are burning
Black growing out - a charred blood stain
As Gaia joins the ancient Goddess pyre
The feminine divine which he has slain
Now these dry grey clouds are calling
Out to you in familiar ancient refrain
Asking you to finally change your ways
Because Her loss is far worse than His gain
