Tonight the copper chimes are ringing
In these winds of change now blowing
Reminding me of my dear father
And the strength he's still bestowing
Black horses tonight are winnying
Amidst the tempest winds now howling
Robbing senses of smell and hearing
Without, their nervous fears are showing
Tonight grass blades are whispering
Under gale force winds still growing
While the muse and trees are screaming
Above the pastures green I'm sowing
Tonight my curled locks fly wildly
Dark in these winds of change now flowing
Like the child behind the grizzled beard
Longs for Our Mother still all-knowing
Tonight I hold my staff up high
Against these winds of change unslowing
As I settle in towards Earth and Sky
Within, Her waning Moon still glowing
