Croning

Croning
I have reached that age ...I am now a woman of a certain age
the time of the wheel that is slower and
I have time now... endless time
no children need me and the house is clean and quiet now
I have no small clothes to wash now
No lunches to make\No bedtime stories
But I am a Crone now ... Respected... Sought after ..Needed?
.
But it is a time of too much quiet too much time alone
No schedules to keep ... No one requires my attention
This is freedom .. This is Croning ...This is my turn of the Wheel
Empty house ...Empty Nests ...Empty rooms ...Empty days
What will be the next Journey ..The next turn of the Wheel ...What is my next step
I am ready Lady to do as you wish .. Let me be of use ... Make me your tool..Help me find purpose once more
I am tired now of the stillness I want Life and Noise and Joyous sounds of Living
Let this turn of the Wheel bring me usefulness and purpose
My Lady again I ask for your guidance ...What would you ask of your Crone ...
