You knew it when you heard it
Thats how love's mysteries unfold
All the stars line up with circumstance
Pointing towards your heart of gold...
Behind you faced it though you fear it
That's when love's mystery makes us bold
We act on wits and whats called 'circumstance'
Reaching for our distant hearts of gold...
We put blind Faith in their mere notions
Though their warm gestures leave us cold
When they deny love's miraculous emotions
Bleeding out again our blessed hearts of gold...
You put it out there to the Universe
It answered back affirmative three-fold
"Yes" said the gods and stars against all odds
In celebration of your purest heart of gold...
We laid it on the lines they've crossed
O'er the truest lovesong stories yet untold
When All seems possible our Hopes get lost
For they're not listening to their hearts of gold
