The Lady Reigns

My Lady Reigns
Smoke rising blue gray into a starlit sky
The fire in turn veils and reveals those in the Circle
Acrid and sweet incense en robes us all
Flute and Drum Staff and Sword
Willow and Amber and Oak
The smoke of Myrrh and Sage
Reverence and joy and robes of jade
Bring colour to the night.
The Maiden leads and Sisters follow
Coursing first the journey of Sol then pacing back again
Until Luna 's reflected light turns Sols gold to Mother's silver
The flute lulls the spirit but the drum draws our feet ever on
The Maiden sings, chants our song to bless this our dance
Corners thanked blessed and released the Circle severed
A bitter sweet ending but once more the Lady reigns
May your journey's ever bring you home:
