Hold me close my ardent Lover
As these autumn winds now blow
Keep us warm under white cover
Before November brings on snow
Kiss me with your light soft lips
As hard October winds now blow
Release me in our red eclipse
Before I simply have to go
Touch me with your darkness
Subtley as the waxing moon
Then slay me in cold starkness
Before we fall like leaves too soon
Bury me with olde hunter's things
When you inter me to the ground
I'll come back when the Sun brings
What winters' lost in spring is found
Raise me high again in springtime
By your Oestre time I'm resurrected
Thrust deep in time and mystic rhyme
Unto your goddess temple re-erected
