Is it so wrong to seek out perfection
In the Universe's thin black cold disguise
When I find you are moonlit by my reflection
Like my Love candlelit within your dark eyes?
You left a perfect black hole within my heart
Exactly one Earth-Sun diameter wide
At precisely one Earth-Moon distance apart
Rimmed by Light, eclipsing all my pride
You've come and gone throughout the seasons
In perfect sync with our own Nature's miracles
You made me think beyond the box of reasons
About the strength within your old stone circles
You are constantly waxing then waning
Like the Love that haunts me in the night
For whenever I am losing, you are gaining
And you are most black when I burn bright
I see us shining in the strangers' faces
Our mood reflected in the changing weather
The ways we find our many perfect places
When we are still lost and found together
