what is real to you is not to me

Don’t know anything anymore…
What was real…is not so real anymore.
A parents love that was once there…
Just dies away.
A brother kept from his sister…
Who will never understand what happened.
A family tore apart… and for what?
Religion. A so called god. A so called savor.
A so called father.
Everything around me now seems so…
So…so fake… so unreal…so unwanted…
So undeserving…
I can now see what was wrong with today’s
World. The problem with society today is…
No one cares…no one gives a sh*t about the bum
On the street who has to sleep in a doorway in
Minus 30 winter nights… no one cares that
Our so called government is lying to us.
That they are stealing our freedom…
Our money…our life’s…
I think the problem is us… yes us.
Not the government.
Not the person who spits on the bum.
But us…the people of this world…
Because we let it happen.
When we can stop it.
What have we become.
What have we done.
We should be disgusted with ourselves.
With each other.
With our parents for rising us like this.
With our military for teaching us how to die…
A heroes death by shooting others and invading
There land just because of race…
And then throw you in jail for shooting
A person of a race on our land…
But it is okay to do it on there land?
What .
Have .
We.
Become? I don’t know.
But I refuse to live this way any longer.
Because I know what I can become.
And

Is
Not
THIS.
Author's Notes: this is about my life my parents disowned me at 17 and left me for dead on the streets when they found out about my reiligon wicca and i never got to say goodbye to my 7 year old sister who meant everything to me i would die for her...and then it just con't from there to make this poem
