Like a white pine whipped and torn
anchored fast in crevaced rock
leans forever eastward unto morn
atop the windswept path we trot
Within mist driven from the ocean
ripped from waves afore the gale
leaning leeward forward in motion
along the windswept shores we sail
Glow we embers driven in the night
through darkness hot and torn from fire
stripped then dying burning bright
'midst flames windswept by our desire
Like white blizzards hard-packed snow
hides a most treacherous deep rift
blown onward through the storm we go
across the windswept plains we drift
With manes flowing from black horses
Light gains now behind our galloping stride
above low dales and dark watercourses
O'er winters windswept peak height we ride
