Behind a mossy wall of dry stacked stone
Still three ancient Celtic crosses stand
Were you to touch them under moonlight
You'd feel his rough old mason's hand
Behind a mossy ring of cold black water
There lies his deep pristine natural bog
Were you to stroll there under moonlight
You'd soon find you're lost within his fog
Behind murky mists that now enshroud
There hides his wisdom olde but under cover
When through gray cloud breaks the moonlight
Then you find him there, your ancient lover
Behind shadowed walls of tall black spruce
Therein his sanctum 'midst dark trees
When eyes flash Truth beneath the moonlight
You'll find me there before you on my knees
Behind his aging mossy old man's face
There glowing yet, the soft heart of a child
Were you to touch him by the moonlight
You'd find his gentle olde soul growing wild
