Were it not for Her Earthly tremours
There'd not be mountains nor seas
We'd just slog around in rice beds
So bored and wet up to our knees :)
Were it not for Her quakes essential
We'd not know glorious streams and rifts
Dull, we'd live so flattly existential
No, these ups and downs are truly gifts
Lend me your shaking hand my Lady
Come walk with me a mile or two
O'er our green hills and lakeshores shady
Before I fall down quivering for You...
Let me gently touch your lovely face
With my hand thrust in your dark hair
While underfoot our good Mother trembles
I place all my trust in You without a care
Essential are these tremours fleeting
For they sweetly shift our world underneath
Raising blessed hilltops for our meeting
Offering us world views beyond belief...
