If I opened up my heart to you
And let you stroll around inside
What old voices might you hear there?
Amidst the times we've lived and died
If I let you in to closely listen
Might you hear good olde souls tried?
Held glistening under blackwater
Still whispering Truths we won't deride
If you came with me two centuries yonder
Would you hear laughter out on hack?
Like that of reunited lovers lost in wonder
Cantering miracles by horse whip and tack
If you then rejoined me five centuries back
Where you find me chained and dungeoned
Would you hear my silence on their killing rack?
Before dark foes then tore me bludgeoned
If you came with me back six thousand years
Might you then feel me lying under you
My blood draining away to your joyful tears
Divinely coming while I'm dying just for you
