Go ahead and call us crazy
We only see things as they are
Our intuition's seldom lazy
We make wishes just before a falling star
Perhaps you're right we are insane
For naming things before we see them
We have nurtured our sixth sense arcane
And strive now to just be kinder heathens
I don't blame you as you doubt us
There's no greater skeptic than myself
But I know some day you'll write about us
Words I'll not read but she'll keep on her shelf...
When you think I've maybe turned away
The silence really means I'm lost in prayer
Pondering mystic things we learned today
Wondering if Love keeps us ever lusting there
Go ahead and call your lovers' bluff
If that's what you think this first kiss is
You will know when you have had enough
Just before you feel how blissed this is
